The final match of the Summer was against Surrey at Guildford. Surrey won the first session by 4 points, the 2nd & 3rd sessions were shared with 6 points each. In the final set of games we needed to win 4 of the 6 . This was accomplished. the final result being 24 points each. Shots went to W Sussex 368 and Surrey 317. So a very good win for us.Best team was Denise Merritt, Ron Booty, Barry Laker, Barbara Laker and Alan Berriman winning all their games in both the pairs and triples.
Best Pair: Denise Merritt and Ron Booty
Best Triple: Marilyn Knight, John Hardy and Joy Reynolds.
